Running Hall of Fame
Roland Anspach
Year Inducted: 1986
Roland was the first great masters runner to come out of the Dayton, Ohio area.
He raced successfully all across the USA in the 1960ʼs and 1970ʼs and was the holder of many national titles both on the track and on the road.
He was the measuring post used for young runners; if they finished anywhere near Roland they knew that they had arrived as a runner.
