Carol Bennett

Year Inducted: 1993

In 1988 Carol and Denny Bennett got married just before the Corridor Classic began.

For many years the they were the heart and soul of the running and race administration in the Dayton area.

Their contributions to the Ohio River Road Runners Club have been incredible serving as many different positions including, Denny as the president, and Carol as the Secretary.

For many years they were the race directors for one of the largest and most prestigious races in Ohio, the ORRRC Thanksgiving Turkey Trot, one of the 10 largest 8K races in the US.

Voted race directors of the year many times for their efforts.

Were both very inspirational to members of the community to both start running and to keep running.
