Billie Stacy

Billie started running at the age of 49! That did not stop her from making her mark on the masters circuit. In 1987 she placed first in both the 5K and 10K races at the National Senior Olympics. She competed in eight events and qualified for eleven events from the 100 meter up to the 10,000 meter in the 1989 Nationals.

She placed 4th in her age group at the TAC National Championships in Albany, NY. She holds the course record in her age group at the Elbyʼs Distance Run in Wheeling, West Virginia. Billie won her age group multiple times at the Dayton River Corridor Classic.

She was active in the running community off the roads as she served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Ohio River Road Runners Club.
